New blub version
The new blub version 0.8 has just been released. The new version supports multiple servers and you can register your nickname, now. Due to different technical changes, the amount of lags is reduced. Additionally, you can chat ingame and many bugs have been fixed. You can download the new version in the download area. More information about the new version can be found on the official blub page. A few new things
There have been a few changes within the last days. In the profile pages, the Blobby Volley matches are now separated from the blub matches to get a proper statistic. If you enter a match result, you can see the final result directly. This should help do not enter a wrong results, accidently. If you make a middle or unfair rating, you have to enter a reason, now. Have fun during the last days of the season!

The last quarter of the year can begin
The season 3 / 09 is over and the finalists have been announced. On the last day of the season could Abiok still earn a place in the Top8. This time we have two new "features" to the Finals. Katja is Champion!
The Finals have just been finished and Katja won the gold medal again. Côte d'Ivoire got the silver medal, his first The little final was a very exciting match between Mr.Enderson and ffilla. Let the games begin
The Tournament can begin. We have 42 players who have signed in into the tournament. So we have a lot of wildcards. Players, who got a wildcard don't have to do anything in this round. They will get the win automatically at the end of the round. The other players must contact their opponents and play their matches in the 4 days of the round. Every player whose match can not be player within this 4 days, has to write a support request. Have fun!

Singin period expired
The signin period for the torunamend is expired, now. The players, who are too late can signin into the waiting list (signin button on Personal Site). If tournament players get disqualified for inactivity in the first rounds, players from the waiting list can join the cup. All players, who signed in into the tournament have to confirm their signins by the button on the Personal Site. Everyone, who does not confirm his signin, gets disqualified.

communication with german players
You may know the problem, that a german player talks to you in german and you don't understand. The german players can see, that you don't speak german in your profile and in the online list. So, they will talk to you in english and you don't get communication problems.

It is not only important if you win a match or not, it is also important with how many points you win it. On the challenge-Site, you can find a Calculator to test the new system. Alpha 7
An inofficial Alpha 7 Version of Blobby Volley 2 has been released. The most important change is, that you can choose player-names in the options, so you don't have to do the secret signs anymore. Please download the new version form the Download-Area and choose your league name as player name. You don't have to edit the config in this version. The replay-function doesn't work properly in the new version. It records things, that were not played.

The dedicated Blobby Volley Server is offline. The server admin has no internet at the moment, so we don't know when the server will be back. But you still can play over Hamachi. The guest just has to write the host's ip into the config. The Leage Administration is working on a own Leage Server, which will work better.

Changes for the separate leagues
There have been some discussions about the league separation. So, we will change some rules: 1. Top-players can challenge other players. These matches will count for the alltime-ranking only 2. There are 50 players in the top league, now 3. One activity point disappears already after 15 days. §5 changes to: Every "Blobby Volley League Game" contains 2 rounds. But the two playes can decide to play one round, only. This have to be decided before playing! In this case, the players enter the same results for both rounds.

Blobs in the online-list
You maybe have already seen it. Every online player has a Blob in front of his name, now. with this Blob, you can see if the player is a possible opponent or not. The meanings of the Blobs are: red = The player does not accept any challenges. green = The player plays in the normal league. gold = The player plays in the top-league. white = The player has no matches in the actual season, yet. You can see this meaning when you stay over one of the Blobs with your mouse. Additionally, the online users are no sorted by the last activity.

The season 2/07 is over. The players who have been qualified for the final are EatmySocks, napster, aim! and Hinseman. congratulation and good luck! The season-ranking have been resetted. We have changed some rules in the new season: 1. Eight players will play in the next final. 2. The formula for the activity points changes. Forum posts doesn't count anymore. Every player has one point less than now. So, completely inactive players will have -1 point. 3. When there are 50 players in the new ranking, the ranking will be splitted. The 20 best players are in the top-ranking and can play against other top-players, only. Additionally, they need 1 activity point to be ranked. comments, questions and ideas about these changed are welcome. We have a nice new function for all players who don't want or can't play matches at the moment. You can mark on your personal site under edit data, that you don't want to be challenged at the moment. Other players can't challenge you anymore.

When it takes so long..
take EatmySocks and aim! let them play a blobby volley league match. The two top seasoncandidates play a hardcore 4:40 h match against each other. So we honor them here in the news. New Rules
were necessary in case of the communication before the league game, so that new players come quicker to the same aim. Because we are speaking actually about newbies, we thought about, that everybody can play a league game only against the same opponent once a time a day. So everybody can defeat gratis his shyness and can test other players when he challenge him with a league game. Your favorite administration

Decision for the final
Niklas.de refuses to play Blobby Volley 2 Alpha 6 in the final, so Bundescancler2 is the new champion. But if Alpha 7 will be released in the actual season, the final will be played and the champion will be changed if Niklas.de wins.

Final conflicts
Some of you will already know that Niklas.de don't want to play Blobby Volley 2 in the final, because of buggy balls from Bundencancler2. But Bundescancler2 don't want to play Blobby Volley 1. There is no rule for this case. Our decision is that Blobby Volley 2 is the normal version, which have to be played. But the two players can wait for the next Blobby Volley 2 version if they BOTH want, too.

Final
The third place in this season is napster, who got a default win against sUdden. They said nothing about the reason of this Def-Win, but technical problems could be possible. Now, the great final can start, Niklas.de vs Bundecancler2. They already played several matches against each other and they both won. May the real Blobby champion win this final.
