Season finished
The season 2/08 is finished. Congratulations to all players, who are qualified. In the new season, we use a new system for the season-ranking. It is not only important if you win a match or not, it is also important with how many points you win it. On the challenge-Site, you can find a Calculator to test the new system. There is no more separation between top-leage and normal league. There is no changement for the alltime ranking.

Dedicated Server is online
The normal Blobby Volley 2 Server is back online and you can find it in the server list. You don't need to edit your config.xml.

Alternative Server online
The Blobby Volley 2 Server from Markus, the developer of Blub is back online. To play on the server, put the IP 193.34.70.113 into the config.xml or just replace the file with the one from this archive. Thanks to Markus and have fun

Top-League activated
The top-league has just been activated. Matches between players inside and outside the Top 35 are not longer evaluated for the season-ranking.

League Server
The League Server is online, now. Server Problems
The dedicated Blobby Volley Server is offline. The server admin has no internet at the moment, so we don't know when the server will be back. But you still can play over Hamachi. The guest just has to write the host's ip into the config. The Leage Administration is working on a own Leage Server, which will work better.

The next finals are upcoming in three weeks. Eight players will fight in these finals for the first time. In the menu you can already see the repertoire. Use these last days for your final qualification!

Server IP changed
The IP of the Blobby Volley 2 has been changed. To play on the Server you have to insert the following line into the config.xml: <var name="network_last_server" value="85.10.199.70"/> You can also replace the config.xml with our fixed config.

200 000 visitors
yes, there is a reason to be happy. Since the start of the blobby volley league on the 19.11.2005, the page has been visited 200000 times. Reason for that is, the google rank, if you search in google.de for blobby volley or extern sites, which link to us. 200 000 visitors

yes, there is a reason to be happy. Since the start of the blobby volley league on the 19.11.2005, the page has been visited 200000 times. Reason for that is, the google rank, if you search in google.de for blobby volley or extern sites, which link to us. Of course when real blobby volley fans pass on
By the way in future we will have more played games, than registered Users in the League.

Finals are finished
The new saison champion is Eatmysocks, he wins 30:0, cause he could transfer the bugballs back to napster's field. Napster surrendered that game and Hinsemann do it the same way against aim! The league just want to say thank you for the primary expection of the exciting finals

semi-finals finished
The semi-finals are finished. EatmySocks won agains Hinsemann with 30:17. Hinsemann gave up at 22:17. Napster beated aim! with 30:13 Congratulation to all players! Changes for the separate leagues
There have been some discussions about the league separation. So, we will change some rules: 1. Top-players can challenge other players. These matches will count for the alltime-ranking only 2. There are 50 players in the top league, now 3. One activity point disappears already after 15 days. §5 changes to: Every "Blobby Volley League Game" contains 2 rounds. But the two playes can decide to play one round, only. This have to be decided before playing! In this case, the players enter the same results for both rounds.

2. There are 50 players in the top league, now
3. One activity point disappears already after 15 days.

§5 changes to:
Every "Blobby Volley League Game" contains 2 rounds. But the two playes can decide to play one round, only. This have to be decided before playing! In this case, the players enter the same results for both rounds.

Blobs in the online-list
You maybe have already seen it. Every online player has a Blob in front of his name, now. with this Blob, you can see if the player is a possible opponent or not. The meanings of the Blobs are: red = The player does not accept any challenges. green = The player plays in the normal league. gold = The player plays in the top-league. white = The player has no matches in the actual season, yet. You can see this meaning when you stay over one of the Blobs with your mouse. Additionally, the online users are no sorted by the last activity.

The season is over

The season-ranking have been resetted. We have changed some rules in the new season:

1. Eight players will play in the next final.

2. The formula for the activity points changes. Forum posts doesn't count anymore. Every player has one point less than now. So, completely inactive players will have -1 point.

3. When there are 50 players in the new ranking, the ranking will be splitted. The 20 best players are in the top-ranking and can play against other top-players, only. Additionally, they need 1 activity point to be ranked.

We have a nice new function for all players who don't want or can't play matches at the moment. You can mark on your personal site under edit data, that you don't want to be challenged at the moment. Other players can't challenge you anymore.

When it takes so long..

New Rules

Decision for the final
Niklas.de refuses to play Blobby Volley 2 Alpha 6 in the final, so Bundescancler2 is the new champion. But if Alpha 7 will be released in the actual season, the final will be played and the champion will be changed if Niklas.de wins.

Some of you will already know that Niklas.de don't want to play Blobby Volley 2 in the final, because of buggy balls from Bundencancler2. But Bundescancler2 don't want to play Blobby Volley 1. There is no rule for this case.

Final
The third place in this season is napster, who got a default win against sUdden. They said nothing about the reason of this Def-Win, but technical problems could be possible. Now, the great final can start, Niklas.de vs Bundecancler2. They already played several matches against each other and they both won. May the real Blobby champion win this final.
